Xefo®

Product description: Xefo® (lornoxicam) tablets are prescribed for a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory product prescribed for mild to moderate pain. Xefo® Rapid is a line extension for acute pain, including lower back pain, dental pain, sport injuries and post-operative pain.

Xefo® Rapid and Xefo® are currently marketed in more than 20 countries to general practitioners and pain specialists. Xefo® is also available in an injectable formulation.

Medical need: Acute pain can be described as pain that arises suddenly, is severe in nature, and has a relatively short duration. For the patient, acute pain can be so overwhelming that it eclipses everything other than the thought of making it stop. Typical causes of acute pain are traumatic injuries (e.g. broken bones), surgical intervention, and debilitating diseases.
