Nycomed Christiaens Belgium consists of a production site within Nycomed operations network and a competence centre for the manufacturing and packaging of solid dosage formulas (i.e. tablets, coated tablets, capsules). It supplies mainly mid-size batches. Nycomed Christiaens is a very flexible unit with a strong business orientation in very competitive markets.
Since over 60 years, Nycomed Christiaens has been successful in the production of pharmaceuticals products.The plant not only produces pharmaceutical products for Belgium (50%) but also for more than 15 other countries.
Nycomed places a high priority on continuous improvement throughout the whole organization by focusing on the needs of their customers, empowering its employees and optimizing existing processes. Very often these optimizations are conducted by Lean-SixSigma methodology.
