Keeping the public updated
We are committed to conducting new and ongoing clinical trials with core products, and to disclosing study results in free public repositories on the Internet. We comply with the requirements outlined in the Joint Position Paper (January 2005), which represents the view of industrial and pharmaceutical trade associations and the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors.
Registering clinical trials
We register non-exploratory clinical trials (phase II, III, and IV) at the National Library of Medicine, USA:
- trials not completed before 1 July 2005 were registered by 13 September 2005
- trials initiated after 30 June 2005 are registered within 21 days of the first patient enrolment.
Posting results
We disclose results of non-exploratory trials within one year of trial completion on the Phamaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America website.
