Product description: Omnaris™ (ciclesonide) is a prescribed Nasal Spray, developed and marketed in collaboration with Sunovion (formerly Sepracor), for the treatment of seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis.
Omnaris™ is currently available in Canada, Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, Hong-Kong, South Korea, Malaysia and the Philippines by Nycomed. In the United States it is marketed by Sunovion.
Medical need: Allergic rhinitis is one of the most common allergic conditions which is defined as an inflammation of the lining of the nose and is characterized by nasal symptoms including rhinorrhea, sneezing, nasal blockage and/or itching of the nose. It affects millions of people, especially during the spring and summer, when allergy-causing pollens in the air are prevalent.
