Company has its history in Slovak Republic as well. Byk-Gulden, branch office, was established in Slovakia in 1992 and since 1993 it has been active on slovak pharmaceutical market as ALTANA Pharma, s.r.o.
In August 2007 NYCOMED s.r.o. was established in Slovak Republic as the company following the activity of ALTANA Pharma s.r.o.
In our portfolio of products which follow the worldwide trends we offer medicines for tretament of gastroenterological, pneumological, cardiological and rheumatic diseases.
Diagnostic contrast agents (IOMERON, PROHANCE, SONOVUE) are unignorable part of our portfolio. This year we have launched medicines for pain and osteoporosis treatment.
Our objective was, is and will be to build up the company with principles of modern medical science and from department of Research and Development to bring our patients the medicines which can make their life standard better and which will move the medical research one step forward.
After previuos and succesfull year when the company achieved the annual sale growth of 23% the growth of staff has been performed this year. Currently, NYCOMED Slovensko has 24 employees. Another growth is planned, which is connected with launching new medicines in Slovakia. Total turnover of the company was 218 million SKK in 2007.
