Recent years have seen a dramatic shift in the prescribing landscape in the UK. Swathes of reform have swept across the NHS, changing the way healthcare services are delivered to patients. Nycomed UK recognises the need to respond to these significant changes and is commited to adapting its business model to allow it to effectively manage customers' changing needs.
To facilitate such an approach, Nycomed UK has restructured its business to create a small highly skilled core team supported by outsourcing partners who provide specific expertise and additional capacity as needed. This structure allows us to invest appropriately on both a therapeutic and geographical basis in line with customer and company priorities, more flexibly than but as effectively as companies who retain all functions within their own organisation.
